Mo Orr, Online Editor-In-Chief

Hello! My name is Mo Orr, and I am the 2018-19 Online Editor-In-Chief! My main focus this year is to continue to manage our website and earn as many awards as we can earn, ‘cause we deserve it! Personally, I enjoy changin’ my hair to all sorts of different colors, so far I’ve had it red, pink, pink with orange tips, and a blue-green color! I edit video and audio as a hobby, and I enjoy writing and drawing. In my future, I hope to publish a book, and would love to publish a webcomic. I play D&D with my friends whenever I’m free, and am currently in 4 campaigns. I am currently in Ready Set Teach, a program at my school which allows me to assist a teacher at an elementary school for 2 class periods every Tuesday and Thursday! I really enjoy marine sciences, and hope to have a career studying or working with marine organisms. My dream is to swim with stingrays in the Caribbean, and it’s my favorite animal in the world!

Just after Stephen Achilles was announced Mr. Bulldog, Harrison Louis holds him close. “When they announced me as Mr. Bulldog I was filled with shock as my fellow contestants hoisted me up into the air in celebration. Being Mr. Bulldog is a huge honor and it means the world to me,” Achilles said. “All of the contestants put on a wonderful show and I’m trying honored to be the one to win it all. I am so thankful for everyone who helped me in my show. I share the victory with them and with everyone who came out to cheer me on.”

Caught from footage from a security camera at the main entrance, these images show the clearest view of the vandal who broke many windows on the Bowie campus. The video shows them throwing several rocks at the front doors, which are just out of view. If you know this person call ATX Crime Stoppers at (512)472-8477.

CHEERING ON: Seniors Alexa Robinson and Taylor Bhuiyan cheer on Junior Hector Garcia as he bends back while playing limbo. The Bowie carnival consisted of many different games and activities which the students could participate in. “I thought the carnival was really fun time and a good way to relieve some stress,” Bhuiyan said. “It brought Bowie students together despite our differences.”
