Corinne Piorkowski, Editor-in-Chief
Hi, everyone! My name is Corinne Piorkowski, and I am a senior at Bowie this year. I work as one of three Editors in Chief this year on the Dispatch! This year, I want the final product of the paper to be the best it can be, and I want to collaborate with everyone on staff to make sure that goal is reached! I have previous dance experience, but am taking this year to focus on newspaper staff because I love to write! I love writing news and sports stories, and also have written commentary and entertainment for the staff. In school, my favorite subjects are English and Science, and a lot of my time during school is spent working for those types of classes. Outside of school, I have three younger siblings, one of which is at Bowie as well, and I spend a lot of my time with them. I love hanging out with my friends, reading (specifically thrillers), and watching Netflix. I’m so excited to do everything I can to contribute to the paper and to make relationships with the people on staff this year. I want to continue to pursue journalism in college and beyond!
