My name is Vivi Lopez-Stern and I am a senior at Bowie. I started to get interested in journalism during the pandemic when I began watching the news more frequently. When I realized the important role that journalism plays in our society, I wanted to further my knowledge on the subject and decided to take a journalism intro class my freshman year. I really appreciate the opportunity to write for the Dispatch and cover issues that are relevant to the Bowie community. In addition to journalism, I also enjoy baking, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
