Swim and Dive Results

Over the weekend the swim team competed in one of the hardest regions in the state in Rockwall, Texas for the chance to move onto state. This year nine swimmers are moving onto state. This is the most the team has has qualify since 2003 when they were competing 5A so this is a huge deal for us. Congratulations to the following athletes:

Diana Dunn placed first in 200IM and second in 200FR, qualifying her for state in both.

Gavin Moak placed second in the 500FR, qualifying him for state.

Alekzandr Popper placed first in dive, qualifying him for state and All-American.

The girls 200 Medley Relay placed sixth calling them up for state with Mackenzie Martell, Sigrid Lamberg, Caroline Meyers, and Diana Dunn.

The girls 400 FR Relay placed third, calling them up for state with Dianna Dunn, Arianna Lax, Kaitlyn McDaniel and Delaney Anthony.

The boys 200 Medley Relay: Gavin Moak, Wes Wasserburger, CJ Suarez, and Nicolas Tornoe placed twelfth.

Gavin Moak placed fourth in the 200IM.

Arianna Lax placed sixth in the 500FR.

The girls 200FR Relay: Sigrid Lamberg, Caroline Myers, Arianna Lax and Kaitlyn McDaniel placed ninth.

The boys 200FR Relay: Jake Mickelson, James Hayek, Garrison Sales and CJ Suarez placed tenth.

Sigrid Lamberg placed ninth in the 100BR.

The boys 400FR: Jake Mickelson, Gavin Moak, Nicolas Tornoe and Wes Wasserburger all placed ninth.

The boys placed tenth overall in the Region and the girls placed ninth overall.
