On Saturday, October 14, auditions were held for the 2017-2018 All-Region Orchestra for TMEA Region 18. Students spend two and a half months preparing excerpts from two extremely difficult etudes and all this preparation happens outside of school. Congratulations to the following students:

On Violin: Kathryn Park, Jonah Cadena-Perena, and Emma Davis

On Cello: Andre Plackis

On Bass: Kody Cardamone and Max Scofield

And congrats to Andre Plackis for placing first chair in the region
