Senior Goodbye: Mo Orr
May 17, 2019
Four years at Bowie has come and gone. It’s so strange to see my change from a freshman to a senior. I’ve grown a lot, and I’ve become proud and ambitious. Now that I’m less than a month away from finally getting out of here, I’m constantly feeling excited and terrified.
I’ve worked on the website for three years, although I’ve been in the newsroom for four. This room has seen me as a freshman who wouldn’t look away from his assigned computer to a senior who is more prepared than he ever thought possible. In that time, I came out, I grew as a person, and I gave myself more chances.
I’ve changed a lot since freshman year. I know that in four years, I’m definitely gonna change a lot more. After that, I’m gonna keep changing. I’m gonna grow all gross and old, but I’m gonna change into a good and kind person. I’m looking forward to studying psychology, I’m looking forward to moving out, and I’m looking forward to my future. If I ever look back on this, I hope I did well enough. See ya, Bowie.
