Same Difference wins the crown

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA), an international student press association that helps critique and allow improvement within educational press programs- much like the JBHS Yearbook.

The 2018 yearbook, Same Difference, has been awarded a crown from the CSPA out of New York. A crown is the highest recognition of overall excellence from the CPSA- and out of 1,172 yearbooks in the country, Same Difference came out on top out of 19 other hybrid yearbooks that were selected.

The yearbook team had never competed as a hybrid, meaning that last year the yearbook was submitted along with a video element for the first time in competition. A total of 89 total yearbooks were given awards, and 70 of those were print-only.

Watch for updates in March, when news comes in on if the yearbook has been awarded a Gold or Silver Crown, however, a Crown itself is an achievement.

Congratulations to the JBHS Yearbook team for this amazing achievement!
