On Monday June 18 through Thursday June 21, the girls lacrosse teams will be holding a Girls Lacrosse Summer Camp at Bailey Middle School for any girl third grade to twelfth grade. The main purpose of the camp is to teach girls how to play lacrosse or how to improve their skills.

“At the camp they teach many different things such as cradling, passing, catching, shooting, rules of the game, ground balls, and defensive body positioning,” Varsity lacrosse player, freshman Lily Gendron said. “If you are new to the sport they will teach you the basics and if you already play they will teach you new things or help you improve your skills.”

The price of the camp is $100 before May 25, however afterwards the price increases to $120. Snacks and drinks will be available at the concession stands along with extra lacrosse equipment.

Young girls who have a passion for sports or lacrosse are recommended to attend the camp.

“I would recommend the camp to girls who are interested in playing lacrosse in high school or girls who want to improve their lacrosse skills,” said Gendron.
