The past three years for the Dispatch I have gained so much as a student and staff member. I am so thankful I got the opportunity to work with the rest of this staff and help this newspaper be as successful as possible. From the sidelines of football games to theater makeup rooms, being a staff photographer has provided me with so many experiences and opportunities that will help me for the rest of my life. Bowie has turned me into who I am today and I’ll never forget the teachers that helped me get here (Mrs. Stiles). I’m gonna miss all the friends I made over the years here and I hope we all have the best time possible in college or wherever else life takes us.
I’d like to thank Noah Bihan for all the incredible work we did together throughout the year. Our Bee Club photo essay Winning Tops of Texas was an incredible achievement for the both of us, our hard work paid off big time. We collaborated on tons of different assignments and I had a great time doing it.
The Boston trip was an unforgettable experience and I am extremely grateful for Mr. Reeves and everyone else that made it possible. Rooming with Austin and Alex was tons of fun and I’m glad our friendship grew as much as it did. The classes I took were extremely helpful and hearing from one of the Red Sox photographers grew my interest in sports photography immensely.
