Speech and Debate Qualifies for State at Winston Churchill and Salado High School Competitions
In the past two weekends, Speech and Debate traveled to Winston Churchill High School and Salado High to compete in tournaments. The team brought home several new state qualifiers as well as a qualifier for Tournament of Champions, a national debate completion in the summer.

Christian Abarca and Fionella Caputo in Public Forum Debate.
Amelia Cook and Jadon Demetri in Duet Acting.
Sofia Chavez and Lucas Wilcox in Duet Acting.
Sofia Yordanova in Congressional Debate.
Nadia Peru in Humorous Interpretation.
In addition to this, Nikkihil Weerakoon qualified for the Tournament of Champions which will be held this summer.
