Congratulations to all of the students who auditioned at the region 18 band auditions. This was a tough process and shows students individual determination and success. Round one started on Thursday evening and the whole thing concluded Saturday afternoon. Students competed against musicians from all over the Austin, Hays, Dripping Springs, and Bastrop. 37 students made one of the region bands, which was more than any other school in the region. The next closest school was Hays high school with 33. The next closest school in AISD had 16 make band. Bowie also had more kids advance to Area(24) and more kids who were first in their room (10) than any other schools. Congratulations to the following students:
