Hi, my name is Sophia Shaw. I am a Sophomore at Bowie High School and this is my first year on The Dispatch. My goal for this year is to improve my photography skills and use the opportunities that I’m given this year. I am also a first violin in the JV Orchestra here at Bowie,and I am on the wreck team at a local climbing gym Crux. I really enjoy watching movies with my dad and friends at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. When I’m at home I’m usually taking care of my pets, I have 3 cats, a dog and my hamster. I am very excited for the 2024-2025 school year on the Bowie Dispatch and I look forward to the photos I’ll be taking.
