After almost four years working on this publication, it’s almost unreal to think my time is coming to an end. Freshman year was not the easiest for me, coming out of COVID and some family issues. School was harsh, but I got through it by writing. I want to say thank you to Mr. Reeves, Isabella, Liberty, Elizabeth, and all the other people that I made art for or gave me art assignments. I think making art for the school newspaper has helped me improve not just my skills in digital art, but also art in general. Last year I applied for the paper with exactly 0 experience, largely because I didn’t want to be double blocked for another extracurricular, but also because I was peer pressured by one Audrey Cullinane so that we could play more Overcooked together.
