Senior Goodbye: Sam Blas
May 17, 2019
My four years here at Bowie High School are finally coming to a close. Oh, what pain this school has caused me. Four years of constant stress and annoyance. But, what came along with such turbulence is personal growth. As I compare myself to my freshman self, my sophomore self, and even my junior self, I see completely different people. Growth from an OK person to a better person, and for that, I thank Bowie.
Thank you to my many teachers, who dealt with my laziness, my rudeness, and most of all, myself. Thank you, Mr. Reeves, for motivating me to become the best journalist I can be. Thank you Mrs. Dellana, for showing me a field of work that I hope to continue. Thank you Ms. Shirack for pushing me to be better. Thank you Mr. Logan, for showing me respect when I didn’t deserve it. And thank you Ms. Spiro, for being there when I needed support.
So, basically, I thank Bowie High School for the exponential growth that I have experienced. Thank you to every organization I have ever been apart of. And lastly, thank you to every teacher I have had the pleasure of having.
