Bowie debate performed recently at the heart of Texas National Qualifiers , a district tournament against different schools where students compete in speech and debate.

The Forensics Team performed at the district tournament, one of which was sophomore, Jaden Davis.

“The bowie forensics team is a small group of dedicated thespians and oral interpretation students that compete at local, state, and national tournaments,” Davis said.

All speech students independently qualified in different interpretations, Davis interpreted in DUO interpretation.

“We took straight 2nd places from all 3 judges in the final round and qualified for the tournament,” Jaden said. “Bowie’s accomplishment was very impressive.”

In addition to the Forensics Team performance, Jaden Davis individually placed in the Texas National Qualifiers.

“My accomplishment was qualification in DUO interpretation, which is a form of scene acting.” Davis said. “I’m very happy I got to be a part of it.”
