This year in the newspaper has been one of the most developing times of my life. When I joined the newspaper, I didn’t know what to expect going into it, but I was very excited. I was excited to finally be part of this staff as a photographer. I have learned how to develop better time management and also how to communicate with other people on staff. Joining the newspaper has been nothing other than a great experience and opportunity. Thank you for all the experiences, and I will miss this program a lot.
Mr. Reeves: Thank you so much for giving me such a great opportunity to express my creativity and become a great contributor to the staff. I know that it was a big risk to take someone with only graphic design experience, but I can’t thank you enough for it. You have taught me how to become a great worker in a big staff, and those skills will transfer into many things to come in life.
Savannah Riggins: Thank you for being by my side every step of the way through this program. Thank you for helping me get into this program and helping me get started on all the things I needed to get done. You have helped me through every tough struggle in high school, and I can’t thank you enough. I can’t wait for all the things that the future has in store for us, and I can’t wait for college together.
Cole Wong: Being my friend since 8th grade has been more than a blessing. You are one of the funniest and most thoughtful people that I know, and I can’t thank you enough for getting me into photography. Going off to college is gonna be tough, but ever since I’ve known you, it’s been great every step of the way. You’re gonna do great at UCLA, and we’re gonna have to get friend group trips rolling out throughout college.
Will Olenick: Before joining the newspaper, we barely talked, but ever since I joined, it’s been so fun getting to know you and talking to you. Thank you for introducing me to all the things photography has to offer, and playing Hacky most days has been so fun. It’s been amazing getting to know you, and I know you’re gonna do great things with your career.
Andrew Covert: Knowing you since the 2nd grade has been so great. I remember when me, you, Daniel, and Jack would all bike to TCBY and get yogurt. I’ll never forget that. Being in newspaper this year has been so fun. Thank you for being such a great friend, and you’re gonna go do great things at Southwestern
