My time in High School was a rollercoaster for me with many ups and downs. I decided to join the newspaper because I enjoyed it in Middle School. I had no idea it would set me up for my future and introduce me to some of the best people I have ever met. The Dispatch gave me a sense of importance and the feeling of being a part of something while exposing me to different career paths I could take. I will be going to journalism school and majoring in integrated marketing communications, which I would never have discovered if it hadn’t been for The Dispatch. I found a path that is right for me, but I can continue to be a part of the journalism world.
I am grateful to every member of The Dispatch from 2022 to 2025. Without them, I wouldn’t have found my path or made the friends I did. I have so much respect for the leadership teams I have worked under because they truly taught me so much. I am excited about leadership for next year and know they will do an amazing job. My biggest thanks are to Mr. Reeves for being such a great advisor. Your guidance and support have meant so much these past few years, and I will always remember the things you taught and told us.
To the Juniors and Sophomores: I wish you guys the best of luck next year, and I know it will be great. I know the seniors have created a fun and friendly space for you guys to be able to reach out if you ever need anything.
To my fellow seniors: Thank you, guys all for your assistance and friendship over the last three years. I am beyond grateful to every one of you and will miss you all so much.
As High School comes to an end, I have so much appreciation for the teachers and classmates that brought me to this place, but I am most thankful to The Dispatch for giving me a place to belong and bringing me friendships I will miss so much.
