Whipping up custards, pasta, and lemonade, junior Maxon Deschodt welcomes Dispatch staff members into the kitchen and through the diverse food scene at Bowie. Touring kitchens of culinary, in preparations for their upcoming pop-up, and sampling treats at Lily Flanigan’s Neapolitan bake sale, there are many opportunities for a delicious bite by Bowie’s hardworking chefs and bakers. Senior Joaquin Chairez, Head Chef of this month’s Italian themed pop-up, was inspired by flavors in his creation of each dish.
