SENIOR ROYALTY: Seniors Kate Bookidis and Clayton Migl take the field as Homecoming Royalty at the Homecoming game. Bookidis and Migl did not know they won until the end of the homecoming court ceremony. “We are both very excited to win this title because we had hoped to win, although I wouldn’t have been very disappointed if we didn’t win,” Bookidis said. “The experience was very fun, and I’m glad I got the chance to do it no matter how it turned out.

HANDS UP: Elizabeth Yowell, Audrey Nixon, and Ellie Nowlin who play Tanya, Donna, and Rosie, dance to the song Money, Money, Money. Nowlin had hoped for the role of Rosie and had practiced singing her songs long before auditions were held. “I’ve learned a lot about getting close with your cast and the other characters through yourself and just how to be a better actor in general,” Nowlin said. “Rosie is really interesting as a character and different from other characters I’ve played, so it was really interesting getting to learn the different parts of her and exploring all the different parts of her life and personality.”

Newton has been playing lacrosse for five years. “The car raffle will help us pay for balls, pads, equipment, and pay our coaches,” Newton said. “We also need money to go into funding our trips for tournaments.”
Lacrosse begins a drive for support
LIVE PERFORMANCE: This year local artists perform at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters light festival instead of the original light show held annually. Mozart’s has produced a line up of local talent to delight visitors. “I thought the singers were really good,” Hadley said. “I liked that you can walk around and do your own thing and still enjoy the music and lights at the same time.”
