Bulldawgs defeat Grizzlies in home game

Last night, the Bowie Bulldawgs varsity football team took on the Glen Grizzlies in the first home game of the season. The Dawgs demolished the Bears with a score of 42-21. Elementary and middle school cheerleaders were also invited by the Bowie Cheerleaders to strut their stuff on the field during the game and at half time.

Nowlin had hoped for the role of Rosie and had practiced singing her songs long before auditions were held. “I’ve learned a lot about getting close with your cast and the other characters through yourself and just how to be a better actor in general,” Nowlin said. “Rosie is really interesting as a character and different from other characters I’ve played, so it was really interesting getting to learn the different parts of her and exploring all the different parts of her life and personality.”

Newton has been playing lacrosse for five years. “The car raffle will help us pay for balls, pads, equipment, and pay our coaches,” Newton said. “We also need money to go into funding our trips for tournaments.”
