On Monday the 21st the Bowie Forensics team won several top awards while competing in the TFA state qualifying tournament at Pflugerville HS. The team also got second place in overall sweepstakes. There was over 20 students who placed between the first and fifth place of their category. Categories included:

Novice Extemporaneous Speaking

On Tuesday the 29th the Bowie Forensics also competed in the TFA state qualifying tournament at Anderson HS where they won won second place overall, and got first and third in individual sweepstakes. There were was also five students who have become new state qualifiers, these students include:

Miguel Lozano and David Garza in Duet Acting

Jade Fabello in Original Oratory

Katy Jacobs in Humorous Interpretation

David Garza in Dramatic Interpretation
