Speech and Debate: TFA State Qualifier Results at Hendrickson and Pflugerville High

Last week, Bowie’s Speech and Debate Team competed in two state qualifying tournaments. The team had a strong showing with many finalists in multiple events.

Duo Interpretation:

First place at Pflugerville- Jadon Demetri and Sofia Chavez

Second place at Hendrickson- Jadon Demetri and Sofia Chavez

Sixth place at Pflugerville- Amelia Cook and Zack Kohlmyer

Sixth place at Hendrickson- Olivia Nanda and Tess Nielsen

Duet Acting:

Fourth place at Pflugerville- Jadon Demetri and Amelia Cook

Fifth place at Pflugerville- Jadon Demetri and Amelia Cook

Congressional Debate

Third place- Julia Low

Finalist-  Sofia Yordanova
