As Richard Winemiller retired after his 23 years in the kitchen, Kathryn Mayo stepped into his shoes as the new culinary teacher. Mayo previously attended Bowie as a student in culinary and is happy to now be a culinary faculty member. “Being back on campus and seeing the other side of things as a teacher is so exciting,” Mayo said. “I can’t wait for the events we have planned this year and am super grateful to be back.”
