#14 BYU (4-0) at Houston (1-0)

The Brigham Young Cougars head into Houston,Texas undefeated looking to improve to 5-0 on the season on friday night. BYU coming off a very unimpressive win vs UTSA has a lot to prove this week going on the road against a high powered Houston offense. Zach Wilson is tied for the 8th most passing touchdowns this year and has been a big help to BYU’s success. On the other sideline Houston in Dana Holgorsen’s second year has a chance to pull off a big upset in their 2nd game of the year. Houston had their first game just a week ago and not much is known yet but they scored a lot of points vs a mediocre Tulane team. This should be a big test for the 15th ranked Cougars to prove themselves this season and could be a high scoring game if BYU can’t stop the pass.

#11 Texas A&M (2-1) at Mississippi State (1-2)

The Aggies just pulled off a huge upset last Saturday at home vs the Florida Gators, on the road this week versus a very unique Miss St. team should be a good one. The Aggies offense looked very improved on finishing drives and scoring, thanks to their defense. The one problem looking at this game is A&M has allowed lots of yards through the air which could set them up for disaster. The Bulldogs set a conference record with 600 passing yards in an upset vs LSU in their first game under first year head coach Mike Leach. Ever since the Dawgs have fallen to an unranked Arkansas team and scored two points last week vs Kentucky. This game should be a defining moment for both teams this season. If the Aggies go on to win Saturday they have a pretty favorable schedule to win out and possibly get their name in the playoff conversation, if not this team can’t accomplish much this year and this could put Jimbo Fisher on the hot seat. The bulldogs have nothing to lose Mike Leach will come into this game with a very offensive mindset and try to put the Aggies in an uncomfortable situation, another bad loss for the dogs will have them questioning a lot.

Score Prediction Texas A&M:35 Mississippi State:17

#3 Georgia vs #2 Alabama

The biggest regular season game will be played Saturday night in Tuscaloosa,Alambama. A top 3 matchup with some of the country’s best players and a huge effect on the playoff race. The Georgia Bulldogs have been nothing but dominant vs opposing offenses this year, that will change Saturday night. The Crimson Tide have some of the most explosive receivers in Jaylen Waddle and Deveonta Smith. The SEC is known for defense, but this week offense will win it. Alabama gave up 45 points to a young Ole Miss team last week which is unlike the Tide. The Bulldogs also have a great offense with a rising star Stetson Bennett and wideout Georgia,George Pickens. Alabama’s head Coach Nick Saban just tested positive for COVID-19 this week, which will rule him out to coach and could be the difference in this game. At home the tide will come in ready and slowly break down a good Georgia defense, but in a close high scoring game I think the Crimson Tide are just to complete all around.
