Cooking with Cade Ep 1: Gluten-Free Cinnamon Rolls

Although I made a few mistakes, I was able to bake gluten-free cinnamon rolls! The rolls were delicious, and I recommend that everyone should give the recipe a try. If you love cinnamon rolls, this is the perfect recipe to please both your stomach and your soul.

Full Ingredient List:

Dough:

  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tsp dry active yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup avocado oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 and 3/4 or 3 cup gluten-free all purpose flour

Filling:

  • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup coconut palm sugar (can be replaced by regular sugar)
  • 3/4 cup erythritol/monk sweetener blend (can be replaced by regular sugar)
  • 2 and 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp arrowroot starch (can be replaced by cornstarch)

Frosting:

  • 6 Tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 and 1/4 cups powdered erythritol/monk fruit blend (can be replaced by regular sugar)
