How do you get to school in the morning?

Currently my dad drops me off, but I'm driving. Since I'm about to get my license, he trusts me fairly well, so I drive to school, and then we switch seats and he drives back.
Do you feel safe on the roads driving to and from Bowie?

Yeah, I mean it's pretty safe. There's a lot of regulations around. There's APs at the cross sections, so students don't get hurt. The only thing that's kind of dangerous is the amount of cars that are on the roads, there's just a lot of traffic.
How did it feel driving for the first time?

Driving for the first time was nerve-wracking. It felt like 10 miles per hour was 60 miles per hour. When I first started driving, I felt like I was going much faster than I actually was, and it took a second to get used to.
Do you have a car?

I'm going to get one in December, and I'm buying my own. I think I'm going to buy it in cash. It's definitely stressful because I have to manage school and work, but I have a sense of accomplishment because I'm earning that myself. Growing up you genuinely don't appreciate the things that are just given to you as much as you should appreciate them, so buying something on your own, especially if it's a car, it makes you feel very accomplished and it gives you a bit more respect for life.
What can the community do to make drivers more comfortable?

I think if the drivers had more patience, especially when it comes to leaving school, a lot more drivers would feel safer. A lot of people speed just to beat traffic and that causes others to feel like they need to do the same.
