JBHS Debate students accept their awards after a long day of competing at the Saint Mary tournament.

JBHS students dominated at the Saint Mary’s Hall this weekend. JBHS competed with students from across the country.
JBHS debate came out with many awards and received 2nd place team sweepstakes. Some of the awards handed out to JBHS students include the following:

Individual Awards:
Jason Saladiner and Conner Williams in Public Forum Debate
Payton Bellman and Jack Maegdan in Public Forum Debate
Jack Maegdan in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking

New tournament of champion bids
Duo interpretation- Connor Show and Jaden Davis
Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking- Jack Maegdan and Tate Weston

1st Place Public Form Debate- Jason Saladiner and Conner Williams
