Maddy Rice, Managing Editor

Hey! I’m Maddy, a senior editor at The Dispatch. I’m one of two managing editors for the print section of the paper; my job is to oversee the layout and general flow of the paper and collaborate with the advisor, EICs and other editors in order to assure our publication is the best it can be. This is my fifth year in journalism, but only my second year on The Dispatch staff. I am a retired content editor for the Bowie yearbook and was the online editor at my middle school paper. In my free time, I babysit for families in my neighborhood because I absolutely adore kids. My other passions include science, queso, singing in the shower, and playing The Sims on my desktop. In the future, I hope to move to Seattle and own a solid pair of red rain boots.
