Lilly Yeager is currently a sophomore at James Bowie High School. She was chosen at random to find out more about her and what she enjoys doing in her free time.

“My hobbies would be hanging out with friends, playing soccer, kind of doing what any teenager likes to do like watching Youtube or going on Netflix and also shopping,” Yeager said.

Passionate about school, Yeager tries her hardest in school and aspires to get an excellent education and be a productive member of society.

“I’d say that I am most passionate about my friends and family because I really care about them and I really value spending time with them.” Yeager said, “or, I’d say I am most passionate about school just because I really want to get a good education and I really want to try and go to a good school to do something productive with my life.”

Yeager participates in a number of activities that allow her to interact with the community and represent her school.

“Playing soccer and representing Bowie, and also being a part of interact club which is a service committee that volunteers places. We volunteered to give food to people and to plant trees. Being a part of Spanish Honor society and representing being a part of a big program.”

Yeager plays soccer mostly as a hobby so she can focus on what she truly pursues in a career.

“I’d say that my soccer career isn’t much of a career, I think right now I just do it more for fun,” Yeager said, “When I was younger, more like thirteen or so it was definitely more intense. I did select and it was more considered my life and now it’s become something more that I enjoy and has become less of a chore.”

Over the years, Lilly has travelled to Europe to climb the Eiffel Tower.

“It was super cool. We went up the tower at midnight and as we were going down the clock struck midnight and the tower started to twinkle blue and the people below us looked so small like a doll set.”
