This past weekend, qualifying members of Bowie’s swim and diving team participated in the UIL Swimming and Diving State Championships. They finished the Championships with many accomplishments, including making the highest place for a Bowie Relay in over 10 years.

Brooke Simpson in 200 IM Relay

Caroline Myers in 200 IM Relay

Norah Cullicott in 200 IM Relay

Caroline Myers in 100 Fly

Alekzandr Popper in Diving

Brooke Simpson in 100 Breast

State Championship Results:

Alekzandr Popper placed 6th in diving

Caroline Myers placed 19th in the 100 Fly with a 3rd best time 57.44 seconds

Brooke Simpson placed 20th in the 100 Breast with a 4th best time fo 1:05.92 minutes

The 200 Medley Relay team of Arianna Lax, Brooke Simpson, Caroline Myers, and Norah Cullicott placed 4th with a time of 1:45:39 minutes
