At the 2018 TFA State Tournament, Bowie Students, Grace Widner, and Reed Syzdek became the state champions in Deut Acting. Out of 650 competing schools, Bowie earned the 10th place Team Sweepstakes, and out of over 1,000 competing schools, the team received 9th place Team for State Qualification.
