App of the week: Egg, Inc.

Robbie Warhola, Staff Writer

This week, I delved into the app Egg, Inc. and I was quite surprised. I found that this game although simplistic, to be very addicting. The Premise of the game is simple, move chickens to their hen houses and in doing so the value of your farm increases. As it increases you can upgrade your egg and that then resets your farm. The goal of the game is to get to the very last egg which can’t be done in a short amount of time at all.

I spent the week upgrading my hen houses and delivery trucks and, I found that for playing just two to five minutes every now and then to check on my farm. I felt a little addicted to be honest. Finding myself addicted, I quickly got to the prestige stage of the game. This is when you’ve gone as far as you can and can no longer upgrade your egg but you are nowhere near the end egg so you prestige to multiply your earnings and you start back at egg one (the edible egg).

So now on my third prestige, I can’t put it down I feel the need to keep moving chickens and upgrading my egg. I don’t know if it’s the need to find out what the last egg is or if I simply love moving chickens from one place to the other but I am in love with this game and I refuse to put it down and for that I give this game a 3.5/5 stars.
